It\u2019s also quick to roll out managed RADIUS to your organization to authenticate users to Wi-Fi, VPNs, switches, and network devices securely.&nbsp;This is a full walkthrough of configuring&nbsp;JumpCloud&#8217;s RADIUS-as-a-Service (RaaS) and a Meraki Wireless Access Point (WAP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Settings and Configuration Notes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Encryption\/Authentication Mode:&nbsp;<\/strong>WPA2 Enterprise.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Server IP Addresses:\u00a0<\/strong>For current RADIUS server IPs, see\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/configure-a-wap-vpn-or-router-for-radius#configuration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">JumpCloud RADIUS Server Details<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>RADIUS Port(s):&nbsp;<\/strong>1812\/UDP (accounting port 1813 is not supported).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Shared Secret:<\/strong>&nbsp;The Shared Secret is created by performing the steps in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/radius-configuration-and-authentication\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RADIUS Configuration and Authentication<\/a>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To view the Shared Secret<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">JumpCloud Admin Portal<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select&nbsp;<strong>USER AUTHENTICATION<\/strong>&nbsp;&gt;&nbsp;<strong>RADIUS<\/strong>&nbsp;from the left-hand navigation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click to select a configured RADIUS server. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>Shared Secret<\/strong> is below Server Name.\u00a0Click the eye to make the characters visible,<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Meraki Configuration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card note\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/note-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Note:<\/strong> \n<p>When changing the Host IP of the RADIUS server in the Meraki configuration, you must also re-input the secret for that record. If you do not, the new setting may fail.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The following steps describe the process to configure the Meraki configuration. They are accurate as of 8\/11\/2016. If a discrepancy is found,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/contact-jumpcloud-support\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">contact JumpCloud Support<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Navigate to <a href=\"https:\/\/meraki.cisco.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/meraki.cisco.com\/<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Log In<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter your your Meraki administrator username and password.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Configure<\/strong>&nbsp;and select&nbsp;<strong>SSIDs.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find an open SSID in a disabled state. You may need to click&nbsp;<strong>Show all my SSIDs<\/strong>&nbsp;for visibility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>edit settings<\/strong>.
